Andy Jean is a New York based Stage and Film Costume Designer. He has worked at Chautauqua Theater Company, Santa Fe Opera, and the Spoleto Festival. He is a native of South Florida and began his theater career at Florida School of the Arts. Andy has earned a bachelors degree in Business Communications at the University of North Carolina and Costume Studies at Greensboro College. He has an MFA in Design from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Andy has draped costumes for over 20 shows and works freelance throughout the year and is the Assistant Costume Shop Manager at the Chautauqua Theater Company.
His shows include; Othello, Wig Out!, As Much As I Can, Vanya Sonia Masha Spike, Playboy of the West Indies, A Doll’s House, Once on This Island, Once Upon a Mattress, Anything Goes, Riders to the Sea , and The World Premiere: Wake-Walking by Tommy Trull. Andy loves meeting new artists and collaborating with directors and choreographers.
